 Feb 2010
Eric Gunderson obtained on behalf of a Hospital client a finding of no probable cause by the District of Columbia Office of Human Rights on a charge of race and national origin discrimination alleging claims of disparate treatment discrimination, hostile work environment, and constructive discharge.

Eric Gunderson successfully defended a claim of pregnancy discrimination and violation of FMLA rights brought against a Hospital before the District of Columbia Office of Human Rights, resulting in dismissal of the Charge of Discrimination.

F&G's lawyers obtained summary judgment in favor of a hospital client in an alleged case of race discrimination before the D.C. Commission on Human Rights.  The claim involved allegations of discrimination arising out of a former employee's applications for promotion and her eventual termination.  F&G convinced the Commission to reach a finding of no discrimination on each of the claims asserted and the claims were dismissed.

 Dec 2007 F&G's lawyers obtain defense verdict in D.C. Superior Court in jury trial alleging that hospital disciplined and eventually terminated employee because she was pregnant.  Former employee brought  claim under the D.C. Human Rights Act.  Jury reached a unanimous finding of no discrimination on all of the claims asserted.

 July 2007 F&G's lawyers obtain defense verdict in D.C. Superior Court in two-week jury trial alleging that orthopedic physician was negligent in his surgical repair of patient's shoulder causing permanent injury.  Jury unanimously found that physician's care and treatment was appropriate and complied with the applicable standard of care.
